Her POV:
It was all fake. The kisses, the loving smiles, the affection, all fake. I run as far as my legs can take me, not caring where I end up. I find myself in the meadow, past the park across the street from the edge of town. Nobody knows about this clearing apart from me... and him. Now that I'm away from the drama, I let my tough exterior crumble. My tears become cracks in my mask of indifference, and my sobs become the voice of my silence. And, to add to the depressing effect, raindrops hit every surface, the ground, the trees, and my shivering form, my knees hiding my crying face.
